Several cannabis companies appear on Inc.’s 2023 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America.

The publication ranked companies based on percentage revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. Included companies are U.S. based, privately held, for profit and independent as of Dec. 31, 2022. The companies were also founded and generating by March 31, 2019. 

Arizona’s Sonoran Roots was the only cannabis company to crack the Top 10, taking the 10th position with 24,397% growth. In addition to its Ponderosa Dispensary brand, the company offers the Canamo Concentrates and Canamo CBD brands.

Edibles ingredient company Azuca came in at 214, posting 2,628% growth over the three-year period. The company offers the TiME INFUSION encapsulation technology that shortens onset and delivers a smoker’s high.

Minneapolis Cider Company, which offers the Trail Magic THC-infused beverage brand, ranked at 858, with 690% growth. 

Cannabis wholesale platform Nabis earned the 1,340 spot, posting 434% growth. Meanwhile, Oregon-based edibles maker Grön came in at 2,140, with 263% growth.

Other listed companies in the inhalable categories include:

  • Blazy Susan, No. 96, with 4,811% growth
  • Green Blazer, No. 1479, with 388% growth
  • Hemper, No. 2,372, with 232% growth
