cbdMD, Inc. has moved into the Japanese CBD market.

The company says Japan could become one of the next big international CBD markets, with a cultural emphasis on natural health solutions and one of the largest consumer health economies in the world.

cbdMD reported three strong months of sales of its Japanese product portfolio, launched under the cbdMD Pro line. Products, which include gummies, capsules and softgels, will be sold to end consumers through its Japanese website.

"We're looking forward to serving the Japanese public and making our cbdMD portfolio of wellness products available to be added as part of their daily routine and lifestyle," said Kevin MacDermott, president of cbdMD, Inc. "In regard to CBD, the health-conscious Japanese consumer still represents an underserved market. We believe that by offering cbdMD's high-quality products we will be able to attract a whole new group of consumers looking for natural alternatives. We are seeing strong interest from both the elderly and working population who are looking for natural remedies to everyday issues, including occasional pain and discomfort. This expansion marks the next phase of international growth as we look to continue bringing our globally recognized brand to new emerging markets."
