Socati Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yooma Wellness Inc., has acquired a USDA Certified Organic finished goods manufacturing facility in Olathe, Kansas.

The acquisition will allow Socati to expand its manufacturing capabilities, enabling it to carry out scaled production of cannabinoid-infused goods including tinctures, topicals, stick packs, lotions, and salves. It will also allow for rapid go-to-market development of products geared toward specific consumer use-cases such as restfulness and athletic recovery.

“Demand for USDA Organic CBD-infused products is evolving quickly and Socati is committed to empowering its customers as they seek to create next-generation products that meet their customer’s needs,” said Jordan Greenberg, CEO of Yooma Wellness. “We’re excited to welcome a new team and further advance our production capabilities by combining our market-leading USDA Organic oil extracts with market-leading USDA Organic end-product certification.

The new location will provide specialist equipment and 14,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. With the existing 22,000 sq. ft. facility in Montana, the combined operations will allow Socati to increase its downstream manufacturing across the country. The acquisition also welcomes to Socati a skilled team with decades of experience in formulation and manufacturing nutraceutical and CBD finished goods. This continuing investment in both infrastructure and talent ensures Socati and its customers are well positioned to respond to the evolving CBD market.

“This acquisition will allow both Yooma and Socati to continue their missions to build a global CBD and wellness platform and provide us with valuable opportunities for future expansion,” said Lorne Abony, chairman of Yooma. “Both the manufacturing facility and team we are acquiring will give us immediate strategic value and additional expertise in the CBD space, and will allow us to increase our presence in the United States as well as achieve vertical integration by adding downstream manufacturing capabilities to Socati.”

In addition to its non-detectable levels of THC (in its broad-spectrum extracts, as determined by independent testing with leading U.S. laboratories), Socati products benefit from high purity CBD, custom minor cannabinoid ratios and optional USDA Certified Organic extracts. They are non-GMO, tested and verified by third-party labs, produced in a GFSI certified, food-grade, processing facility, kosher, and made to ingredient grade specifications.
